Tanning Certification In Ohio

Ohio Instructions

Below you will find instructions for completing your Ohio certification. If you have any

1. . If you haven’t done so already, please access a copy of the Tanning Dynamics
   Certification Manual by clicking here. Depending on the speed of your connection, the download may take a couple of minutes.
2. Ohio students must also click on the following link: Lawriter – OAC – 4713 State Cosmetologyand Barber Board (ohio.gov) and read the entire regulations for Tanning Facilities. There are some parts that don’t relate to tanning facilities, but may be relevant to you if you are working in a hair and nail salons for example. If you read a section that is not relevant to your tanning facility, you may skip that section.
3. Take the test when you are ready. It is the same test that everyone else takes.
4. After we receive your successful test results, you will be prompted to download your
   certificate.
